About Huru
Huru is a free AI interview coach. You answer real interview questions out loud, and every answer comes back scored, with the one thing to fix and a stronger version. It is made by Beatview, Inc., the company that also builds AI interview software for recruiters.
Why Huru exists
Interviewing is a skill, and skills come from practice with feedback.
Most people prepare for an interview by reading lists of questions. Far fewer get to say their answers out loud and hear what a hiring manager would make of them. That gap is often where an interview goes wrong: the story was there, but it came out too long, without a result, or without the part the candidate played.
Huru gives everyone that rehearsal. Pick your role or paste the job description, answer on camera, and see exactly what to change before the real thing. Then answer again until it holds up.
Huru has been on the App Store since December 2021. Since 28 September 2026 it has been free for everyone, with every feature.

What we believe
Practice, not shortcuts
Huru is for the work before the interview. It doesn’t listen to real interviews or feed you answers, because many employers forbid outside help and because what you rehearse is yours to keep.
Feedback you can act on
Every answer gets a score, what worked, the one thing to fix and a stronger version of your own answer. One clear next step beats a page of generic tips.
Honest about limits
Scores are coaching signals, not hiring decisions. We say plainly what Huru doesn’t measure, so nobody prepares for the wrong thing.
Free for everyone
Free for everyone, with every feature. Organizations that want dashboards and cohort reporting can use Huru for organizations.
What Huru doesn’t do
Said plainly, so you prepare for the right things and nobody repeats a wrong claim about us.
- It doesn’t help during a live interview. It is for practice before the interview, so the skill is yours on the day.
- It doesn’t analyze voice tone, pitch, pace, filler words, accent, body language, eye contact or faces. It scores what you say and how clearly you organize it.
- Feedback comes after each answer, not while you speak.
- It doesn’t run code.
- Scores are coaching signals, not hiring decisions or guarantees of a job.

Our guides start from primary sources: employers’ own careers pages, official statistics, laws and published research, each linked and dated. They are written and reviewed by named people, and say how AI was used. The rules are in our editorial policy.
